SHE RISES — Safe Haven for Empowerment is a transitional housing and supportive services program for adult women rebuilding stability in their lives.

Many women we serve are transitioning from incarceration, parole or probation, homelessness, family disruption or other major life transitions. Our mission is to provide a safe, structured and supportive environment where women can rebuild independence, develop life skills, access community resources, prepare for employment and strengthen family relationships.

We provide structured housing, accountability, case management support, resource navigation, employment readiness, benefits assistance, transportation coordination when available, family-reunification support and referrals to outside providers.

SHE RISES is a non-medical residential program. Medical, psychiatric, nursing, substance-use treatment and other licensed clinical services are handled by appropriate outside professionals and providers.

Our goal is not simply to provide a bed. We want each participant to leave better prepared to manage appointments, benefits, employment, technology, finances and everyday responsibilities, and move toward safe, stable, permanent housing.

Our Community Closet supports participants and community members in need with new and gently used clothing, shoes, hygiene supplies, household essentials and other appropriate donations.
